And too often, site development goes the way of the quick-and-easy. Put together a nice design, add some official-looking text, and wait for the traffic to pour in.
But it doesn't work like that.
Unless you've made a name for yourself offline — and your audience is guaranteed to shift online (rarely is this the case) — you're nothing if not your Web content. And that's why it should be your number one priority in Web development.

Can Blogging Become a Steady Side Income?

When you work a full-time job at a computer, in a cubicle, the last thing you want to do when you get home is to sit back down at the computer.
But as I work during the day, the only time to put out good content is either
- at night, after a long day of work
- the morning, which means less sleep
- the weekend, when no one is/should be on their computers
