It's not as exciting as past years, but I'm liking the African angle. Maybe it's because they created a fake country to refer to or it could have been the 2 hour movie setting it up, but it makes it more believable to me. It has started a bit slow, but I was glad to see the bodycount finally start up in this episode. A plane crash will be a good event for showing caos in the aftermath.

I was disappointed too that they didn't focus more on the crash, but I'm optimistic we'll see more fallout next week. I'll also be interested in seeing how they come up with other terror attacks using their hacked access.

Beyond the Africa angle though, I'm loving the President's husband (the 1st Dude) How creepy was it to watch him be paralyzed while being framed for murder? I thought that this was a nice psychological touch. It should be interesting to see how they unwind this. I'm still hoping to see Jack and friends go legit with their investigation. I'm still having a hard time believing that the corruption is so bad they have to go off the grid storyline.
