This almost makes up for the writer's strike. It looks like it has all the ingredients for success. Non-stop action - check Jack getting tortured - check Jack breaking the neck of his torturers - check Gut wrenching scenes of kids with guns - check political corruption at the highest levels - probably a check It won't be the same as being able to watch 24 episodes, but hopefully it will be enough to tide me over until January.
