		<description>Well, if a site makes $5M from visitors coming from search engine A, but site engine B offers $10M for an exclusive, then the correct decision is to go with B, particularly since some of the A traffic will change to B if the exclusivity campaign is successful.

If search engine B spent, say, $10 billion (20% of the budget Microsoft was willing to pay for Yahoo&#039;s small search share), then they could probably get quite a lot of high-value sites to give them an exclusive.</description>
