Building Business Connections at LinkedIn.com

If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed. Thanks for visiting!
I'm on a variety of social networking sites — not MySpace though (nor MyFace) — but they are all just that: social. However, I just signed up and spent some time working on my LinkedIn.com account.
If you're not familiar with the site, it has many of the same social networking functions of a Facebook or Friendster, but it is focused around building work and business connections.
It'll be interesting to see how my network grows. The number of people on the site is more limited than some of the other social sites, mainly because it is so focused on work. There's no photo gallery, "wall" or guestbook. You can recommend your connections — in fact, it is encouraged and shows you have a reputation.
The biggest feature is "introductions" which, if I understand correctly, allow you to "get-to-know" a connection of one of your connections, for the purpose networking.
Is anyone else on LinkedIn? Check out my public profile or add me if you'd like!
