How I Boosted My Productivity Overnight

As a Web editor by day and online product developer by night, I spend a lot of time on the computer. It's not a bad thing, but coming home after a long day of work isn't always ideal for getting side work done.
But, I have managed to boost my productivity overnight — 20 to 30 percent, in fact — according to the New York Times, with no Red Bull, cloning or space-time continuum paradoxes.
How'd I do it? Simple.
Survey after survey shows that whether you measure your productivity in facts researched, alien spaceships vaporized, or articles written, adding an extra monitor will give your output a considerable boost — 20 percent to 30 percent, according to a survey by Jon Peddie Research.

Maybe I should take that $200 I saved on my laptop's extended warranty and use it toward another monitor — how much more work could I get done with three monitors?
(And yes, that is my Scooby-Doo mousepad. Thanks for noticing.)
