Can Blogging Become a Steady Side Income?
Posted by junger - 08/06/06 at 01:08:50 amThe problem I've always encountered when trying to make a decent amount of side income from blogging is the time commitment. When you work a full-time job at a computer, in a cubicle, the last thing you want to do when you get home is to sit back down at the computer.
But as I work during the day, the only time to put out good content is either
- at night, after a long day of work
- the morning, which means less sleep
- the weekend, when no one is/should be on their computers
I've always found that the passion/desire/whatever you want to call it to put out good content has to be harnessed. For example, today I've written 5 posts. Sure, it's a Sunday, but I was able to spend most of the day outside and still write.
Maybe what it takes is getting one or two of these types of days and saving up the posts to spread out over the week.
How do you put out enough regular content to produce a successful blog and steady side income?
